My friend, Calvin Witt of Make It With Calvin, picked up a little Tesla coil/plasma speaker kit for me from All Electronics the other day.

This weekend, I put it together, and added some of my own customizing touches to make it look and sound a bit better.

This is a delightful and easy little kit for less than $10, and it's a real treat to hear a high-voltage spark playing music.
