I got some new stuff to use for a project!
A friend of mine (@Darrell_VA on Twitter) sent me a Pixel Purse -- a pink purse of hard plastic made to look like leather. Why would he send me that? Because it contains a rad LED matrix within.
And it just so happens that my other friend Brian Lough (www.youtube.com/user/witnessmenow) makes a breakout board for interfacing an ESP32 to those kinds of LED matrices. He sent me one to try out.
In this video, I put the breakout board together while looking like a mess because it was 10 pm when I filmed this and it had been a hot and humid day.
