Polygons, pixels, and pure imagination — welcome to the 3D Graphics compo, where artists bend light and shape into stunning digital visions. This is where still images go big.
🖼️ What is it? The 3D Graphics compo showcases still images created primarily using 3D modeling, sculpting, rendering, and post-processing. Whether it’s photorealism, sci-fi concept art, abstract geometry, or demoscene surrealism, this is your playground for epic visual storytelling.
📏 Rules:
- Submissions must be a still image rendered using 3D tools (Blender, Cinema4D, Houdini, etc.).
- Final image must be submitted in lossless format (e.g., PNG) at high resolution (minimum 1920x1080).
- You must include at least one Work-in-Progress (WIP) image showing the development of the piece — wireframes, viewport grabs, clay renders, etc.
- Post-processing is allowed, but the core of the work must be 3D-generated — this isn’t the Photoshop compo.
- No AI-generated or AI-enhanced content allowed. We want your hands and brain behind the pixels.
- All work must be original — no asset rips, kitbashing from commercial sources, or uncredited third-party models.
🎨 Tips:
- Strong composition, lighting, and atmosphere will stand out.
- Style can range from hyperreal to stylized, from fantasy to industrial — just make it yours.
- Bonus love for scenes that tell a story or reflect demoscene aesthetics.
🏆 Why Enter? The 3D Graphics compo is your chance to blow minds with a single frame. It’s where technical skill meets artistic vision, and every submission is a digital poster for your talent. If you’ve got the render that makes jaws drop, this is the compo to show it off.
