In Munster Zoo you'll find the reticulated giraffe exhibit bordering the elephant park, the cheetah paddocks and the African savannah. Indeed, the giraffes do not mingle with other African species in the savannah area. But the giraffes have a nice and large paddock just for themselves. It has a very shallow dry moat separating it from the public footpath, and I wonder if they ever try and step into the moat, seeking freedom or contact with the public. One of the giraffes is cripple and has a swollen left hock as you can see in the video.
