At Tallinn Zoo the Transcaspian urial (Ovis orientalis arkal or Ovis vignei arkal) enjoy their space in a large paddock. The urial are adjusted to gentle mountain slopes and plateaus in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and northeast Iran, where they move around gracefully, unless they are as cripple as these two specimens in Tallinn.
