Ask me about FORGE! This is game 100 I played and recorded for this channel and also the last upload of 2018, so this is something special. Also it is the longest gameplay I ever recorded, but it was well worth it, replaying this awesome game was such a joy!
LOOM was a special game with special controls back in 1990 and it was written as a trilogy with the sequels being FORGE and FOLD. Sadly these sequels were never made, but some dedicated fans finally made it happen for you to play, here is FORGE. And yes, I made some minor missing graphics for the game, also I was an avid betatester and coded and designed the website ( http://forgegame.com/ ) under my other internet handle selmiak. Enjoy!
The game is lovely from start to finish, great pixel art, true to the original, awesome animations, a great fantasy story in the same mood as LOOM, a captivating soundtrack that is very fitting, very cool, subtle but always present sound effects, and on top of that a very innovative and unique control system and gameplay that make solving the interesting but never too hard puzzle a pure joy! The only downside is, that it is too short! You don't believe my hype? Go play it now!

Synopsis: Of those left in the real world, arguably the most impacted guild was that of the Blacksmiths, whose home, The Forge, was converted into Chaos’ primary fortress. Bobbin had met (and accidentally screwed over) a member of the Blacksmiths in his travels, one Wellwrought “Rusty” Nailbender. Thanks to Bobbin’s lack of forethought, Rusty happened to be dead when his home was overrun. Thankfully, Bobbin healed Rusty before the final confrontation with Chaos, thus making the latter one of the few Blacksmiths left free in the world.
Our game follows Rusty, who has taken it upon himself to rescue his family and home. Along the way he will meet a mix of eccentric characters from a variety of fantastic guilds, with all the charm that made Loom so enjoyable. The Guild of Miners, The Order of Woodcutters, the Guild of Florists, and the Guild of Vintners will each have a part to play in Rusty’s adventure, just to name a few.
Trying to find assistance from unfamiliar guilds, dodging enemies, and overcoming an army of the dead is a lot for one young man to attempt. Think he’ll manage it?
