This is easily the best free adventure game of 2020 by now, watch the longplay for a minute, get a feel for it and then play it yourself, or you will have this great game spoiled for you forever. You can always come back and watch the video when you are stuck. The graphics are very good and emulate a Manic Mansion style (even the crickets at the very beginning of the game remind of MM) and do this in an excellent way, the animations are fluid (some of them play too fast) and the mood and colors are a showcase of how to do retro pixel art! The music is not by the author but freely available but he chose 3-4 very fitting tracks. The story catches you from the beginning on and develops in great ways and is excellently told. And the character writing is great, the back and forth between Billy and his parents is hilarious. My only gripe is, the english is translated from spanish and could be better, even the german translation is better than the english one. The puzzles are in the medium level, well balanced and cleverly integrated, really well done. This game is a true gem, play this game now!

Synopsis: Nobody believes Billy Masters. He's been accused of taking drugs in high school and accusing his teacher of serious crimes. Sick of his attitude, his parents have imposed a curfew on him until he apologizes to his teacher. Now Billy thinks a sneaky psycho is at work at his neighbors and he will do anything he can to convince the world that, indeed, Billy Masters was right.

Billy Masters Was Right is a short adventure game in a Maniac Mansion graphic style and a plot inspired by movies like "The Burbs" or "Disturbia".
