Emergency Repotting: Murdannia Root Rot! Plus soil talk, drainage and updates

This Murdannia loriformis was looking pretty dire, and I suspected it had become waterlogged due to water sitting in a non-draining cache-pot (decorative outer pot) and causing root rot. I also later learned that they might prefer a bit of a winter drier period, so absolutely the wrong time to be wet! So, a late-night hasty repotting session, with native soils gathered here on the acreage/farm. I jabber on about the soils, best practises for drainage, protecting the drains in your house! etc Good news is all the bits survived, and I included clips from a few weeks later when they are happily growing and back to flowering!
