what a treat this AdvJam 2023 entry by Honza is (is was not finished in time though, only now, so it would have won it all!). Not only does he come up with a unique fantasy setting including a whole religion, he also sets a murder mystery with a lot of twists in that world and who else but the god was murdered. It is as intriguing as it sounds! Play it and be amazed! The graphics and animations of both the world and the characters are breathtakingly beautiful and the creativity oozes out of every screen and character. I am in love with the animals that suck the power out of the barren lands and thus grow plants on their back while nothing else would grow otherwise. The music is as mysterious and enigmatic as is the world and its inhabitants. Those choral pieces really make it like a religious experience. The puzzles in the game are fun to solve and the story is told really well, but also through a loooooot of text. But when too much lore is the only critique you have done everything right, what an awesome free game!
