4 March 2014, angry Putin answers a journalist asking about possible armed conflict with Ukraine: " Listen carefully. I want you to understand me clearly, if we take such a decision - only for the protection of Ukrainian citizens. And let anyone among the military try to shoot at their own people, whom we will be standing behind, not in front, but behind. Let them try to shoot at women and children! And I will look at those who would give such an order in Ukraine."
