Putin speaking on International (not really) Economic Forum in Sankt Petersburg without much hesitation explained that "where Russian soldier puts his foot, it's ours", calling this a "customary rule". Fortunately, he's talking nonsense and deceiving his believing audience as usual. Russia army had many times been kicked out of territories it occupied, including Poland (1920 and 1993), Finland (1939), Baltic republics, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Central Asia republics (1991), Afghanistan (1989), Azerbeijan (2024) and many other places, most recently several oblasts' of Ukraine (2022-2023). Please therefore don't treat Putin's words as having much predictive value...
