One of the main declared goals of Russia's "special military operation" (SVO) is the "denazification" of Ukraine. One of the many people doing that job is a Mikhail Turkanov, former MMA fighter and neo-Nazi who was in 2011 briefly detained by Russian police for display of Nazi symbolics, including swastika tatoo on his shoulder. Turkanov is one of commanders of the 88th Reconnaissance and Sabotage Brigade "Española", controlled by Russian GRU.
