Moscow street exhibition created by Russian Military History Association (РВИО) that looks like taken straight from early 20th century eugenic show about Untermensch. The exhibition is dedicated to convincing its audience that Baltic nations do not exist, and if they do, they are soil eating creatures that do not really deserve any rights or sovereignty. The exhibition panels describe them as ‘subjects of Rus’ who aspire to be ‘puppets of Europe’, refer to the concept of their statehood only in ironic quotation marks, and use offensive epithets in relation to contemporary politicians of these countries. The Association is not some kind of grassroots amateur community, it has been established in 2012 by the decree of president Putin and receives state funding. Similar exhibitions were abundant in Russia prior to the 2022 invasion and the denial of Ukrainian statehood was one of the core ideas of numerous Putin's speeches and articles in preparation for the war.
