Putin repeats his demands on Ukraine's capitulation by means of withdrawal of Ukrainian armed forces from its internationally recognised territories of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts, including those never controlled by Russia. Russian and pro-Russian media present this demand as a peace offer, with leads such as "Russia calls for complete end of the conflict in Ukraine" ignoring the fact that it's Russia who invaded Ukraine and Russia can end the war in a day by simply withdrawing its troops.
