First shown exactly 23 years ago today, on May 15th, 2000, this is a segment from that day's episode of ACB Radio Main Menu, all about singing speech synthesizers, mainly DECTalk from the Digital Equipment Corporation, which was first released in 1984. Hosted by blind accessibility advocate Jonathan Mosen, this segment includes renditions of various songs performed by the voices of DECTalk, including 'Moonlight in Vermont' and 'Blue Hawaii', from the Elvis Presley movie of the same name, as well as some funny DECTalk skits. It also features various interviews from well-known figures in the singing speech synth scene, including Patrick Perdue, better known by his screen name 'BorrisInABox'.
