Testing Arduino UNO - Movi speech synthesizer with my TV Robot project using Harvard Sentences

time1 yr agoview0 views

Using a limited set of Harvard Sentences to test the wave-form on the TV. Made a couple of changes to how the wave-form is displayed. AN ESP32 using pin 26 to read the output from the MOVI speech synthesizer, and output a display for the TV.

Harvard Sentences: https://www.cs.columbia.edu/~hgs/audio/harvard.html

The Harvard sentences are a collection of 720 sample phrases, divided into lists of 10, used for standardized testing of VoIP, cellular, and telephone systems. They are phonetically balanced sentences that use specific phonemes at the same frequency they appear in English. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvard_sentences

(NOW used for testing of the speech synthesizer as well :-) )
