Time to show off the Lake Pit, which is actually the only part of the La Brea Tar Pits I'd seen before filming these videos cause it's visible from the main road. Except not quite visible enough, cause what I thought was two statues of one mammoth reaching for its drowning partner is in reality THREE STATUES of an entire family of mammoths, with the little baby mammoth as its momma drowns and dies in the crude oil. The fuck.
