Lety Does Unboxing the Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Merch Collection From Holmgard Press

It's time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Joe Dever's release of “Flight from the Dark,” and I'D LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO HIS SPIRIT NOW FOR THIS MESS OF A VIDEO.

Like my head's about to get cut off across the top edge of the video, the footage wasn't great due to a cloud of smoke that randomly passed as I started filming, I taped my little note card a little bit too far away for me to see without my glasses that I hate to wear and a loootta bit too far off to the side so I'm squinting off into the distance toward my left the entire time, and also I panic a few minutes in thinking I accidentally stole a book.

But I didn't, and now I have a super fluffy blanket! And that's what really matters!

I was sent the “Lone Wolf Omnibus: 40th Anniversary Edition” as a gift from my friends at Holmgard Press, in part because I've done other unboxings of their products and let's plays of their gamebooks. I received no financial payment for making this video and was under no obligation to show off their merch at all-- the book was just kinda meant to be a nice surprise for me, which I totally didn't know about before filming.

    • If it wasn't super obvious, I did not buy this and had no idea the folks at Holmgard Press sent me a copy until I started making this video lol
    • Which I love so much and is honestly super duper sweet and probably the least silly gift I've ever received? Think the last thing I got was mystery lingerie from maaaybe a brand, pooossibly a fan? It just came with a random note that read, “For you to please show off in a try-on haul, thank you”
    • And obviously I didn't do that, but the note was a good idea if a little vague and, in this case, would've prevented me from panickedly worrying that I've become a wanted criminal in Sommerlund
