My Autumn Equinox Altar gives thanks for the beauty and bounty of the season, and marks the change from the time of growth, through ripening, maturing, senescence, death. The Time of Spirits begins and while we celebrate colour and light we know the short dark days approach, we think of lost loved ones. This year's altar acknowledged Jumis the Twin God of harvest, fertility, all things twinned-- such as my Mother and her Twin! both gone from the flesh.
