The graphic cell phone video, recorded by a bystander, of George Floyd being murdered by the Minneapolis police. For 9 minutes and 29 seconds, officer Derek Chauvin kept his knee on Mr. Floyd's neck despite bystanders begging him to stop. Mr. Floyd expressed his inability to breathe, his suffer, and even called out for his deceased mother before dying.

On April 20, 2021 the jury convicted officer Derek Chauvin of all counts.
