A Louisville cop pled guilty to federal charges after he used his baton to brutalize a protester who was kneeling on the ground. The protest where former cop Cory Evans attacked the kneeling protester was in response to the killing by police of Breonna Taylor in her own home. This case shows that police will engage in brutality even at protests that are themselves in response to previous police brutality.
