Today we fitted the temporary companionway steps.

Then started on the wardrobe and headlining in the forward head.

Then in the evening a Social at the North West Venturers Yacht Club including watching a couple of Videos from "The Sailing Brothers"

We are going to try producing short daily vlogs of our progress during this half term (although it might not be lots as another storm seems to be forecast for Sunday/Monday . Let us know what you think of the idea.

We are refitting a 45year old Rival 38 for a Sustainable Sailing retirement in a few years. Two years ago, when we bought Vida she was in a very tired and damp condition with all original equipment and fittings (much of it not working). We have removed all the gas, diesel and paraffin equipment, and are installing all electric (motor, cooking etc). All the rigging is being replaced with Dyneema and we are significantly re-working the cabins.
