You've been impatiently waiting to finally come to a consensus... and the rapporteur keeps postponing. Sound familiar? Here's a scene from a committee meeting in Brussels!

Ah, the European Parliament. One of the two legislative bodies of the European Union, a pillar of democracy, and composed of 720 members that debate, negotiate, and demonstrate. With so many legislative proposals at stake, there are quite a number of committees and endless meetings. Among these, are of course, the rapporteurs - they are appointed to spearhead and report on the proceedings of legislation, accompanied by experts, shadow rapporteurs, and other Members of the European Parliament. (If all of this sounds complicated, just imagine how the meetings go!) In this sketch, our Schuman Show cast brings you a scene from the European Parliament itself. After two years of committee negotiations on the Millhoese Report, shadow rapporteurs Jose & Ioana are ready to bring this to the plenary... but not until a distant sneeze disrupts their plans. Will the incompetent rapporteur with an ego problem finally agree to push forward the report? Watch now to find out!
