Kristian is an IT-worker and king of the self-proclaimed microstate Torgu. He took over the throne from his father after he was chosen in a democratic election. His father, Kirill I, was the first king of Torgu, which was formed back in 1992 when civil servants simply forgot to count in the Torgu parish in the new Estonian constitution.
