DESCRIPTION

"Indonesia Pusaka" is one of the Indonesian National Songs which composed by Mr. (Alm.) Ismail Marzuki (1914 - 1958), written in Jakarta, 1949. Its words praise God, created Indonesia, both nature and cultures, is so beautiful. Also shows deep relation between us with our homeland, Nusantara. Ready to sacrifice our lives for Indonesia's peace. It's the land where we were born and it's the same land where we'll be buried. This composition is oftentimes shown on the occasion of Indonesia Independence Day, August 17th.

Papua-born Javanese composer and multi-instrumentalist, Diana Susanti's long-waiting release, "Indonesia Pusaka" (Originally composed by Mr. Ismail Marzuki), is a love expression tribute to the majestic beauty and love of her beloved land. A beautiful symphony, the harmony of one of the great Indonesian composers, Mr. Ismail Marzuki's work, "Indonesia Pusaka", which was re-arranged by Diana Susanti, the music moves seamlessly through highly Indonesian cultural combines with Diana Susanti's own style, Classiceastique, in a Western and Eastern classic scale. Local music expertise and also Classiceastique Music Orchestra joined in these pieces that include stunning harmony of its instrumentals and its choir.
