Even with some recent snow and rainy days ( a good thing for the moisture!) the warmish and warm days between have been enough to bring the gardens to life- I don't have to wait for summer for annual flowers, alpines, bulb plants and woodland plants start to flower from early spring, before the grass greens, even. Pollinators appreciate it- I've seen a couple sorts of tiny native bees, bumblebees and honeybees (not native) coming from some neighbour.
