Pearly (cat) let herself back into the house last week, leaving the screen door open. Later I found this adorable itsy bitsy bee on the washing machine. I got it to go into this plastic cup, and carried it outside. Surprisingly, it wasn't in a hurry to fly off, though it seemed active enough-- it did have one wing hanging a bit at times, so maybe a slight injury? I took some pics and vids, and left it alone. A little later, I saw it was still there, so I took some more pics, then escorted it over to a rock garden- where it was still not keen to leave the cup! Finally, I got it to go onto a plant- hoping for pics of it on a flower- but no, it fell down into the foliage where I couldn't get a good shot. I watched for a couple of minutes, and it did seem to get its footing/bearings and flew off.
