Russian police breaking into apartment of a pro-war activist Mikhail Polynkov, breaking his door and detaining him for desertion. Polynkov is an ardent supporter of the war and critic of Ukraine, who initially supported the invasion and even participated in it as a contract soldier in Russian army. At some point he however decided he doesn't like what he saw in there, declared his contract is finished and left. Russian military authorities had a different opinion and issued an arrest warrant on him. Polynkov had been a vocal critic of chaos and corruption in Russian army since, writing on his Telegram channel, but never questioned the invasion on Ukraine itself. The proverbial phrase of "getting the taste of your own medicine" suits here very well - Polynkov wanted the "Russian world" everywhere, in the first place in Ukraine, so he got a chance to get a preliminary taste of the real "Russian world" when serving in Russian army, where he described horrors of sending soldiers for certain death for no military purpose. Now he is getting the taste of the famous "Russian rule of law".
