Two videos of the same Russian resident of Sudzha who lived in the town during Ukrainian operation into the Kursk oblast'. First the man speaks to Ukrainian soldiers, damning Putin and his invasion into Ukraine, thanks for bread and water, and leaves peacefully. In the second part of the video the same man speaks to Russian media inventing incredible stories about how "Polish mercenaries beat his head". After Ukrainian retreat from Kursk oblast' Russian media started a massive campaign of hyping "Ukrainian war crimes". These are mostly doomed to fail because during Ukrainian presence in the region numerous Western journalists visited it and talked to local residents, confirming no repressions against civilians. The purpose of this media campaign is likely to offer a narrative that would counterweight Russian war crimes for internal audience at least at the "whataboutism" level.
