Monday the 15th was still cold to start: -40 (same in C/F) in the wee hours, and around/below -30 still when I shot this around 11:30 a.m.; still around -20C (which was much better than the few previous days!) in the afternoon while I was cutting wood, then rising further in the evening- -13C for Rocky, and -17 for Red Deer, before midnight. The deep cold was officially broken.
