March here can see the beginnings of spring- snow melting, much longer days- but it can also see full on winter weather. That's what we've had the last week or so, temps in the mid minus teens C, nights around -20 to -30C. Plus, fresh snow- around 20cm or more over a number of recent snowfalls. A pain some days for driving/shovelling- even hauling my wood sled through the bush! but the moisture is important for natural ecosystems and agriculture- not to mention reducing fire risk.
