Another entry to the $108 Adventure Challenge. This time with a creepy ghosthouse twist. We play as Lil' Henry and Penny that are on tour to get candy for Halloween when Penny runs off to the old spooky mansion in the hill and somehow gets locked it. And now we have to rescue her and fight a ghost. All very cute and charming with some interesting puzzles in there and even a hidden secret passage behind a bookshelf, what more do you want from a spooky mansion? The graphics are really cool and cute, I enjoyed exploring the old house and in a plot twist encountering a ghost. The animations are rather basic, but since this is a jam game I'm glad there even are walking and talking animations, some don't even do that. And the kids have an action animation when they do things. some background elements are even animated like the curtains in the upper floor. The sound effect in the intro are really fitting to set the mood. The music is also really nice and comedic spooky, I like that? but youtube is fast to point out that the music is copyrighted, just thought I'd mention that. All in all a lot of fun for halloween for everyone and their kids :)

Synopsis: Lil' Henry and Penny are trick-or-treating on Halloween. In her search for the most candy of all, Penny leads her older brother Henry to a house where no kids dare to go. Hijinks ensue, and Henry has to rescue his sister from almost certain doom! Will the kids make it out ok? Will the mysteries of this old house be revealed? Will Penny get her candy?
