I had a very full day yesterday, so I thought today I'd record a piece to count for yesterday, then overdub a second part on for today. Alas, I tried several times and but nothing I did worked. I gave up and just took everything I had from both parts and made this live performance in one take.

The chapter of the Tao Te Ching today has the line "How the Way does things is hard to grasp, elusive." And that seemed true of today's efforts. Later it says "...yet there is spirit in it," I think that is true, too.
