Once again, I participated in Jamuary, an artistic challenge to create and share a short raw jam every single day of January. I only missed one day the whole month this year (2024). I was recently given a copy Ursula Le Guin's translation of the Tao Te Ching. I used a chapter a day as a loose inspiration. I participated back in 2021, producing 31 pieces of new music. Not all were great, but many went on to inspire the work created for the 2022 PNW tour. This year's 30 works are likely to show up in the coming year in evolving forms.
