Why Cyclists Should be permitted to roll through stop signs | The Idaho Stop Law

time1 yr agoview1 views

It's baaaaack -- the infamous Idaho Stop Law. That's the statute that allows Idahoans on a bike to treat stop signs as yields. In other words, cyclists can roll through stop signs if it's safe to do so. Amazing, right?

RIght, except for all those motorists who argue against it. The idea has come up in my home city this week, and those familiar arguments against it have emerged again. So here's my attempt to explain the law so that, hopefully, more people will understand and support it. #bikecommuting #biketowork #cycling
