My housemate was impressed by how little I spend on production and inspired me to make this video!

Here's my gear breakdown: Interface - $60 Behringer UM2 (like $20 on fb marketplace) Interface (upgrade) - $80-100 Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen Mic - $100 Shure SM58 Mic (upgrade) - $50 Sennheiser XS1 Midi Controller - $40 Midiplus AKM320 Headphones - $150 Sennheiser HD25

Non-necessities: Condenser Mic - $30 Samson Meteor Bass - $270 Kala Wanderer Bass Ukulele Guitar - $30 Crescent Classical (got at a flea market) Monitors - Bose Companion 2 Series III - $80 (often cheaper on fb marketplace)

I didn't mention my monitors. They aren't balanced or useful for mixing, but I did use them as a reference on occasion, or just when I wanted to take off the headphones and experience the music in the room
