I've had the idea of building myself a Dub siren for a while, but wanted to be able to play samples as well as the more traditional synth based sounds a purely electronic build would produce.
When I saw @todbot@mastodon.social latest experiments with audio effects in CircuitPython I knew that I could finally do it all with an RP2350-based microcontroller.
Here's my very first test of a prototype. It allows me to choose sounds using a rotary encoder, and to adjust delay time and feedback using two pots.
Eventually I want to add a synth engine as well to be able to do more traditional Dub siren sound FX. Watch this space!
