Although the lecture is based on Windows 8 all the concepts apply to Windows 10. IT professionals must understand user-profiles and two important concepts are the "default" profile and the "public" profile. Server admins often use the default profile as a method of customizing user profiles during deployments. Application developers leverage the profiles to properly install applications. Backward compatibility is done using Junction points and symbolic links.
