Two years ago I "upgraded" my A500 to an A1200

Well, I put an unreasonable amount of money on eBay to get this beauty 😃 And I was not disappointed. Having an Amiga with a harddisk was a complete new experience. I switch it on ... Bam ... Workbench. I click on a game ... Bam ... game loaded. Amazing.

This is an A1200 Escom edition, which were "manufactured" by german computer company Escom after the fall of Commodore between 1994 and 1996. "manufactured" because I think they simply assembled already produced parts an put their label on it. They planned to build new Amigas on PowerPC basis but they have gone bankrupt themselves in 1996.
