Almost instantly after Russian forces started their counteroffensive from Korenevo, Ukrainian forces opened another front by crossing into Kursk oblast' near Novyi Put' and Tetkino. This incursion, if successful, will land right in the backyard of the Russian forces conducting offensive in the Glushkovsky region.
