The video was featured on Hackaday.com so a big hello to everyone that was sent over. https://hackaday.com/2022/12/27/the-zx-spectrum-finally-gets-a-proper-keyboard/
Like it said in the video I had one very sad looking spectrum 48k and then one board only and I was not sure what I wanted to do about this and while looking for used or new cases I found the Keyboard PCB from Don superfo https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/ZX_Spectrum_Keyboard.html As soon as I saw this I had to design a case for it and of course document the process. I like it so much and had enough interest while sharing I ordered more PCB, Key switches and caps so please don't let me down.
This is the Mechanical Keyboard case for the ZX spectrum 48k rubber key computer. The kit includes the case, mechanical keyboard and key caps plus screws and rubber feet.
Because this is PLA I can't stress enough you really need to remove the heatsink and replace with a switching regulator like the Traco. It's better for the Spectrum anyway.
The kit was tested with issue 3 and 4 boards so not sure about issue 2, but again remove the heatsink and replace with the traco and I am sure it will be ok.
