Dowse is an ON/OFF switch for the Internet of Things, to connect objects and people in a friendly, conscious and responsible manner. Here is our crowdfunding campaign http://crowd.dowse.eu We are building Dowse as a free and open source software because we want to know what we are sharing, we want to see the invisible network space around us. This short video collects some of the interviews made at various events where Dowse was present, from the Off-the-Cloud space at Transmediale in Berlin to the workshop at the Live Performer Meeting in Amsterdam.

The way the Dowse concepts and code are developed is that of a slow and collective process that aims at the simplicity and reliability of its realisation.

Dowse is written in C, runs on embedded devices and its code is already available on Github.com/Dyne/Dowse
