Here are some common tech drills I perform before games, in between stocks, and for general practice. Here's the order:
Simple
- SH U-air
- SH D-air
- SH onto platform - Grab
Medium
- SH D-air - U-air
- SH F-air - U-air
- SH B-air - U-air
- SH Double U-air
- Extended Up + B
Complex
- SH B-air onto platform - FF U-air
- FH D-air - U-air onto platform - Drop-through FF U-air
- Reverse Extended Up + B
Custom Combos
I like to make up combos on CPUs when practicing. These combos usually require good timing and execution to pull off. The one I pull off against Ness is as follows:
(Ness starts in the middle of the left platform in DL)
FH D-air - N-air - U-air - SH D-air - U-air - U-air - U-smash (16 hits total)
This combo is a little more precise than it looks and is also very fun to pull off.
I hope this helps!
