Archived KimimaruSmash video from YouTube. Original description mostly intact:

This is related to the previous video I posted. Please watch that first if you're unsure of what Mario/Luigi's Extended Up + B is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGMis...

This one is a lot tougher and can take some time to get consistently. I did some simple testing via TAS and found the following data (NOTE: Please tell me if I'm off, as I did not test this very extensively):

-Do the Extended Up + B input, except towards you (so the upper left notch if facing left and the upper right notch if facing right). -After this input, you're free to input directly away and turn around. So within the first 4 frames of the Up + B animation, you must input Up + Forward, followed by directly away. This causes Mario/Luigi to get the height of the Extended Up + B from the angle and the turnaround from holding away

My method of input:

  1. Input B and move the control stick in the Extended Up + B angle at the same time, as with the normal Extended Up + B, except this time the angle should be input towards you (so the upper right notch if facing right and the upper left notch if facing left)
  2. Quickly flick the control stick directly away.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you actually did the forwards Up + B angle correctly, otherwise it won't work.

If you don't get the correct height, you may have done the Extended Up + B angle incorrectly, and if you get too much distance or didn't turn around you input away too late.

The timing on this is tighter, so if you want to practice using 1/2 or 1/4 speed in Training Mode, wait until the last 2 frames of Mario/Luigi's Up + B animation before holding directly away, as doing it too soon likely won't work.

I encourage any advice on helping to make this input easier or more consistent, as it's very difficult to perform.
