A Russian woman on a Moscow airport is outraged because her tickets are cancelled as result of departure delays caused by Ukrainian UAV attacks on military objects in the area. The details of her issues are however important here - the tickets she has are from Istanbul to Venice, and she's unable to fly out of Moscow. And she's flying through Istanbul because since 2022 there are no direct flights from Russia to EU. The root cause of her woes is the decision taken by her president Vladimir Putin on 24 February 2022 to attack Ukraine, and Russian attacks on Ukraine continue every day since - for one thing, no civilian airports in Ukraine ever operated since that date. Russia accuses the whole European Union of being "hostile" and "prolonging the war" - yet, Russian citizens happily fly to the "hostile" EU and complain when their own war makes it difficult for them.
Russians finally outraged at Putin's war
