At least 186,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. That’s almost 8% of the entire Gaza population and close to 5 times higher than the official estimate from the Gaza Ministry of Health, which currently stands at just over 38,000.

This new figure is according to a letter published in The Lancet Journal, one of the world’s top medical journals.
