Adam San Miguel is a Cuban-American who owns a cafe in Union City, NJ, and runs a leadership program for young Cuban Americans. Adam has traveled to Cuba many times. He opposes both the Cuban government and the U.S. embargo, and he doesn’t see a contradiction, because it is the Cuban people “who really suffer” due to U.S. sanctions, not the government.
