A simple sequence from the Prophet-10, driven by the Oxi One MkII, runs through the Suhr Discovery Delay via a mixer’s aux send/return path. Delay time is set around 360 ms, starting with moderate feedback and manual filter sweeps throughout the take. As the high-pass and low-pass filters on the delay are subtly tweaked , the character of the repeats shifts from warm and saturated to ghostly and brittle.
What begins as a clean analog synth signal evolves into a complex web of reflections—alive with movement, decay, and coloration. The Discovery Delay doesn’t just echo—it responds, reshapes, and transforms, turning minimal input into an immersive, ever-changing texture.
