A work in progress movie of the coupling between ASPECT and openLEM. This has a rotating continent and a plume rising below it in ASPECT. the velocity field is than being pass to openLEM, which extracts the horizontal rotation and translation of the continental area and applies that to the gird. The residual horizontal velocity and the vertical velocity is then used to compute the uplift, which is passed back to ASPECT. The sea level is determined by a sinus wave with a amplitude of 50m and a period of 20kyr. It is meant as a benchmark and the parameters used, nor the results, are note necessarily physical.
