On April 10 thousands of Israeli settlers marched through Nablus to the illegal settlement outpost of Eviatar. Protected by the army, and accompanied by Israeli ministers and government officials, the settlers demanded the legalization of the outpost and others like it, and called for a massive push in settlement expansion. Meanwhile, the Palestinians who own the land where the outpost is built, were tear gassed and shot at.
